My Journey

"I can't remember the last time I saw and really felt beauty in the world around me."
-Hall's journal, during law school

I'll never forget the hollowness of feeling a stranger in my own life: I had no idea who I was, but I knew the life I was living was missing me.

That was the moment when the risk of staying in the bud finally became more painful than the risk of growing open into a new relationship with myself and the world around me. I set off on my long, winding journey back home to my full self.

As difficult and long as the journey is, it is a self-affirming quest that nourishes and resources me, enabling me to persevere.

To honor the gift of the teachings and guides who supported me, I now have the honor of supporting others in reclaiming their wholeness.

Your Journey

You know the feeling: you’ve worked hard to create a life that feels like yours, but something is still somehow… off. You sense that old patterns of thinking, feeling, or reacting aren’t serving you anymore, but shifting them feels hard or unclear. You've probably tried hard already to break free of themthrough books, podcasts, retreat, workshops, therapy... Yet still you're stuck, and now you're ready to try almost anything that might help.

Often, the ways we show up in the world are shaped by unconscious patterns of behavior we formed in early life: brilliant strategies to navigate the world around us. Back then, they helped us through. Saved us, even. But today, some of them are causing more harm than good. They think you're still in that old world.

Through curious, mindful exploration of your present-moment experience, we can discover your stuck patterns, learn how they work in your unconscious and your body, and gradually explore new choices that expand the map of what your unconscious knows is possible.

I Trust You

I am devoted to gently guiding people through feeling stuck into feeling at home in themselves and in their relationships.

As a Hakomi-trained somatic counselor, my work is grounded in deep presence and trust in the innate healing intelligence of my clients. Few things strain and exhaust our potential more than the struggles we wage with ourselves. I help clients soften the struggle and root more deeply in self-trust—not by pushing or pulling, but by creating a container of relational safety in which you and I can bring curiosity to whatever in you knows it is ready to be met, healed, and explored.

To heal and grow home is to learn how to struggle less with who you are.

My clients tell me they feel truly seen, held, and guided—not given one-size-fits-all solutions, but supported in discovering what is uniquely right for them. I create a space where you can learn to truly listen to your experience—not just your brilliant mind—and explore new ways of living. Whether we are working through difficult emotions, life transitions, or long-held patterns, I hold a warm and steady presence, helping you uncover the wisdom already inside you.

The only way out is through. Working with me is not about avoiding pain or discomfort—it is about turning toward it with curiosity and humility, trusting that within your present experience lies the wisdom for your next step forward.

I am not a guru or a shaman. I don’t have a magic wand. I’m not selling happiness as a product or lifestyle. Be skeptical of anyone who claims they can sell you a lifetime of light and joy with no shadows or discomfort. It's hard and rewarding work to live a full life: that's the price of admission. Are you ready to join the dance?

I didn’t invent most of my tools, and I am not the first to practice them. They are not patented. Most of what I can share has been taught and practiced for a very long time. If you're self-motivated, the world is full of resources to help you on your journey.

I can only share what I have learned that has helped me on my path to being home and whole. And the truth is, coming home means accepting the full spectrum of pleasure and pain, love and grief, knowing that all of it is temporary and that feeling it is how we access our full potential.

If you have tried hard and still find yourself stuck, maybe it's time to seek a different kind of support.
